DRESS CODE: Dance attire must be worn.  This includes bodysuits, tights, dance pants, etc.  There are no exceptions to this guideline.  The teacher must be able to see your body movement, and these clothes allow them to do so.

  • All dancers must wear their hair up and away from the face.  No large hoop or dangling earrings may be worn.  No necklaces of any kind can be worn to dance class.  For safety reasons I ask that all jewelry be left at home because the studio is not responsible for lost or broken items.

  • There is absolutely no chewing gum at any time during classes.  There is no candy either.  Water is allowed in the class, but not in the dance area.  Food may be brought, and must be eaten in the waiting room NOT in the dance studios.

  • Proper shoes must be worn.  A shoe list for the season is sent out to each registered dancer.

DROP OFF/PICKUP: Please remember that there are always classes going on in the studio. Remember to be quiet and courteous to all dancers.  If you are waiting for your class, or you are a parent picking up a dancer, please wait in the waiting room.  If you need to speak with a teacher, please wait until the end of the class if possible.  You can speak to Miss Nicole at any time if she is not teaching a class.

  • In case of inclement weather, we will send an email and post on our social media.  We follow the Plainville School system.

MAKE-UP CLASSES:  In the event that a dancer has to miss a class, they may attend a different class that is held at the same level (for example, a dancer enrolled in Ballet 1 could attend Jazz 1 as a make-up class).

  • Please notify us ahead of time if a dancer will be attending a different class as a make-up.

  • We do not reschedule classes due to cancellations caused by inclement weather.

  • Make-up classes are valid through May 1st.  We will not allow make-up classes after that time due to recital routine prep.

WITHDRAWING FROM CLASS:  If a dancer chooses to no longer attend classes, we must be notified via email of their decision to withdraw from class.

  • Once you notify the studio of your decision, billing will cease for all further classes.  You will continue to be billed for classes up until you notify the studio.  You will not be refunded for missed classes prior to notifying the studio of your decision to withdraw.

  • Costume bills are non-refundable after January 1st.  Should the dancer choose to withdraw after this date, you are responsible for payment of the costume bill.  You will be able to take the costume home.
